About Us
Gabriel
Gabriel trained at the New York Botanical Garden School of Professional Horticulture and spent nearly a decade working first on New York City rooftop gardens then a country estate in Greenwich, Connecticut before moving to the UK in 2015.
During his tenure as a rooftop gardener Gabriel had
the opportunity (and good fortune) of working with his gardening hero Piet Oudolf.
A firm believer in organic gardening, Gabriel can turn his hand to all aspects of horticulture and specialises in apple tree pruning, creating wildflower meadows, designing seasonal displays in pots and borders as well as designing, planting and maintaining pollinator-friendly perennial gardens.
Outside of gardening Gabriel spends as much time as he can reading and writing.
Andy
Andy has been a professional gardener for nearly twenty years, working in gardens large and small, firstly in Leicestershire and latterly in North Yorkshire.
He was the Head Gardener at six and a half acre St Anne's Manor near Loughborough for almost ten years, before becoming Head Gardener at Jervaulx Hall (near Leyburn), where he oversaw the transformation of the eight acre garden into one that has been acclaimed and opened to the public under the National Garden Scheme.

Andy has a RHS Level Three certificate in Horticulture and has a wide experience in the creation and maintenance of all kinds of garden borders.
Before becoming a gardener Andy worked as a dyer and finisher in the textile trade and so has a particular interest and skill in the use of colour in garden design.
His gardening hero is Christopher Lloyd.
Outside of gardening Andy is a musician, songwriter and video-maker, and continues to play in local bands and recording projects.
Leigh
Leigh is a highly skilled landscaper with three decades of experience. He is capable of all stone and wood work required in any garden setting.
He specialises in custom-built features that sit harmoniously in the landscape. Some of his work includes: brick and stone walls, firepits, cobble, sett and flagstone patios and raised vegetable beds made from wood or steel.
Outside of landscaping Leigh is a keen motorcycle trials rider.
